At least, I just discovered a workaround: by double clicking on the tray icon, you can take a screenshot.
Instead, if you choose "Take a graphical screenshot" from the menu, you can take a screenshot of the menu itself (i.e., it does not disappear before the screenshot, making this menu entry useless.
