Today (15 august 2011) I downloaded this image: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/oneiric-desktop-amd64.iso, created a persistent usb key, but firefox works fine.
I do not have the previous image that had this problem (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/20110803.1/oneiric-desktop-amd64.iso), let me know what I have to do.
