Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox
I have set up Microsoft Office 2007 under wine and I have managed to change the gnome file associations to open with Microsoft Office instead of OpenOffice.org but Firefox doesn't seem to be convinced it is a real application.
I tried deleting mimeTypes.rdf so it would pull the settings from gnome when I restart but it didn't help. It still shows no other option than OpenOffice.org.
I also tried telling firefox to open with the word 2007 launcher from ~/.share/
In addition, I tried to make a bash file with the same command as the file association from gnome with no effect as well.
After choosing to open with one of the above nothing happens and if I double click on the file in the "Downloads" window it opens with OpenOffice.org.
I'm filing this as a bug with Firefox because the associations work fine both in nautilus and when opening a downloaded file through chromium.
