You also cannot activate buttons from keyboard (e.g. Alt+C) and that's a different story. I agree that difference in processing Enter is useful and is usability matter, but I don't see how adding those buttons (back it seems) will hurt anyone. Don't change Enter behaviour, just add those buttons back.
