If you want to watch youtube movies you can do that by installing the adobe flashplugin.
You can do this by removing gnash: sudo apt-get remove gnash
and then: sudo apt-get install flashplugin-installer
Although you will be installing non-free proprietary software. If this is undesirable, we can request a backport of an updated version of gnash, but there is no guarantee that the request will be granted, or that it will fix the problem.
