When starting firefox in terminal after reboot:

...continues as long as the process is alive.

Clicking exit in ff-window closes ff-window but process is still alive in terminal until I press Ctrl-C in the terminal which closes the process leaving the prompt active as normal.

Something is wierd with my .mozilla folder, I renamed it .mozilla_old and now Firefox is closing and restarting properly after autogenerating a new .mozilla folder. ...aah, remember now. I copied a .mozilla backup folder from my previous installation to get my bookmarks and passwords on my new system. Probably some config mismatch with latest Firefox? Did the same on my mom's when I did a clean install from 9.10 to 10.04 on her laptop last week.

Testing stuff in the .mozilla folder... extensions folder seems ok, backup'd xxxxxx.default folder brings back all my old stuff including the new failing shutdown. With a new xxxxxx.default folder everything seems to work as fresh.

Transferred the .mozilla folder several occasions before witout any mishaps. Sorry for the trouble :s
