I filed https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=604644 for Evolution. Is it wrong to assume that someone's already looking at doing the right thing for firefox, so I don't need to file that in mozilla bugzilla?
Just to confirm: If the applications are fixed to do the right thing, then my patch in comment #10 is superfluous, right?
I'll open a separate NSS bug for the fact that root can't add certs to sql:/etc/pki/nssdb with certutil (because the new certs end up in /root/.pki/nssdb instead). And reassign this bug to firefox where I believe it belongs.
