Comment 16 for bug 481541

Actually the patch that we have now only affects links opened from external
applications. It's pretty clear that a setting called "select tabs opened from
links" just doesn't apply at all. This setting is just irrelevant in this situation.

The bigger problem is with the left click, since it really is a "tab opened from
link". I, however, strongly suggest to fix this bug and ignore the minor wording
inconstancy. I don't believe that anyone ever wanted the current behaviour, and
extra wording inconstancy is a small price to pay.

As for the "select" being totally confusing, I couldn't agree more. Whenever I
read this I'm sure the browser wants me to select something (as in "select this
option")
