Will everyone stop overcomplicating things?

Why the hell are we putting torrent links inside IMG tags?

To integrate this successfully you need to do two things:
1) Maintain the status quo
2) Make it better

(1) Just treat it like it always has been with .torrent files on webpages. (2)
If you click on a link Firefox loads up the torrent internally and downloads it
as if it was another bittorrent client.

(1) No port forwarding info. It'll just confuse people. And ISPs are going to
cop the brunt of the crap from stupid idiot users. (2) Put uPnP support if you
want. As more people get uPnP capable equipment the number of zero config
uploaders will increase.

(1) For the 99% of legitimate downloads out there, people not uploading won't
mean crap. Sure it'll be nice but it won't be so mission critical to have
uploading like if you were trying to distribute an anime sub or the like. It's
not like people downloading over HTTP contribute anything already.

(2) With the integration we'll have a nice distributed, multihomed file transfer
method integrated into one of the most popular up and coming browsers.

There. I've said my piece. You can all go back to bitching about non-uploads and
trying to put bloody torrents inside <IMG> tags now.
