A third path could be prompting the user that it's a BitTorrent download, and
ask if it should "save the torrent so you can download later", or actually
retrieve the download.

That might by considered UI bloat, but I just thought I would throw that out as
an idea. Not every user may be aware exactly what a .torrent is.
