Why this bug is marked as fixed?

Today, I updated my Firefox to 2.0.0.14 and I got in the terminal :
"Warning: something created compreg.dat!
Your system was affected by this bug: https://launchpad.net/bugs/30791
compreg.dat has now been removed again, which should fix the symptom".

I don't use epiphany and don't run Firefox as root. I'm using Ubuntu 7.10
