Firefox 1.0 has been released and this problem still exists for Linux builds.
When you setup any international keyboard (at least through XKB, most common)
and switch to that other language, you are no longer able to use shortcuts in
Firefox.
This severely hampers usability since you cannot use the common
Copy/Cut/Paste/Print shortcuts.
In addition, GTK+ enables you to switch input method in any text field by
right-clicking in it and choosing that different input method. In Firefox 1.0
this option does not appear.
