Reproduced on WinXP SP2, Firefox 2.0.0.2, seen it also on many previous versions.
Happens in safe mode also. Reproduced on double Xeon 3GHz machine with 2 gigs of mem, i.e. it is not a slow PC issue.

The most slow experience for me is to open http://symbiansmartphone.blogspot.com/
Firefox is frozen several times when rendering this page, totally for up to 30 secs.
