I can reliably reproduce the crash in a 16.04 VM. The crash doesn't occur on 18.04.

Note that this is a beta version of firefox, so use at your own risk (but the crash will be investigated indeed, thanks for the report!).

Profile incompatibility when downgrading is to be expected. Profiles are only forward-compatible.
