For a long while, I've been using this local include file with success on Xenial 16.04. To make use of it, download the "local/usr.bin.firefox" file to /tmp and do:

sudo cp /tmp/usr.bin.firefox /etc/apparmor.d/local/usr.bin.firefox
sudo apparmor_parser -r -T -W /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.firefox

Then restart your Firefox.
