Comment 2 for bug 164545

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The current version of firefox in Ubuntu Gutsy repositories is 2.0.0.8. So there isn't still a update for firefox 2.0.0.9. When that version is included in Ubuntu's repositories you will be notified by the update notifier. As for firefox 3.0 alpha-8 try to run it on the command line and see what happens. Thanks!
