I have observed something interesting:
It only seems to happen for me if I have enabled ClearType font antialiasing.
With normal or disabled font antialiasing, scrolling speed is bad to normal,
same speed as with Internet Explorer.

Tested with FF 20050410 nightly trunk under Windows XP SP2.
