I run firefox 2.0.0.8 in ubuntu gutsy. I have both radeon and nvidia cards, and I tried opensource and proprietary drivers. This problem is very annoying and it is present in GMAIL, with the fixed element that shows the name of the following sender, when opening a long discussion.
