Comment 17 for bug 125588

Funny thing. I've just tested it on my laptop which is much slower than the
desktop machine (i.e. Mobile Celeron 600 vs. Athlon 1.1 and ATI Rage Mobility
128 vs. Matrox G400), but here "slow" pages are scrolling quickly and some (but
not all) things in Mozilla certainly seem to be snappier. Either something has
changed in the last few days (doubtful), or there is some dependency on a
version of kernel/xserver/whatever. As soon as I regain access to my desktop
(two days?) I'll try to narrow it down.
