Way back up in comment 1, kevin pointed out that bugzilla is not a discussion forum and he was right. This bug doesn't need advocacy, or calendar counting, or threats to move to other browsers, or righteously indignant demands, or consensus building, or massive grassroots whatever the hell.
It needs a patch.
That it hasn't gotten one from someone on my team yet is purely a function of them having too much other work to do. Anyone in the 89 comments above this one is, of course, welcome and invited to attach one - we'd love to fix this bug. Anyone up for it?
