i have been struggling with this issue for many years. I have had it with mp3, torrents, nzb files and many of others.

To the developers: If you don't feel like fixing this obvious usability flaw and rather do something else, just say so. Don't hide behind any outdated half relevant specifications. Because now there is absolutely no excuse for not thinking in terms of AND/AND. There is more than one way to protect the innocent from drive-by execution of malicious content AND allow automatic execution of daily or rather hourly of not more often task. Take pride in what you are doing and rather think in terms of solutions. It's quite possible you were not in creative mood when you were presented with this problem the first time and felt like you had to keep defending your decision all this years. Wake up and be a hero :) We will thank you for this!
