I don't see this.

Here's what I did:
1) Load http://gavinsharp.com/tmp/form.html in Firefox (either Nightly or current release)
2) Enter "u" as username, and "p" as the password
3) Submit the form, and tell Firefox to remember the password
4) Reload the page (Firefox should now auto-fill in the saved password)
5) Replace the "u" in the username field with "U", and then click somewhere else on the page to dismiss the autocomplete popup
6) Submit the form (clicking the submit button)

Firefox then prompts me to save the new password for "U".
