I have experienced both the URL history not appearing bug and the URL highlighting bug. If I set "browser.urlbar.clickSelectsAll" to False I get the former and when set to True I get the latter. Quite annoying.

I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 and Firefox 3.5.6.
