Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report didn't yield the required information.
Could you please run an strace:
strace -eopen firefox-3.5 2>&1 | tee /tmp/ff_strace.log
Produce the crash, and attach that /tmp/ff_strace.log file to this bug.
