I'm confused, if it could "perhaps be wallpapered over by forcing a prompt before anything starts loading..." but "you'd still get multiple prompts for the same.." then how does it wallpaper it?

I'm absolutely fine with launching firefox and getting a pw prompt before any other windows opening - that actually sounds ideal. If the person launching that profile doesn't have the password then they can't even see what tabs you have open. At this point anything besides dozens of password prompts sounds terrific. Let's do that.
