I just want to pipe up and say that I still see multiple master password prompts with FF 3.1b2pre. The cause seems to be related to the network sync feature of the reminderfox extension which stores its network password in the password database. If I disable the extension, I don't see the second master password dialog. If I enable the extension, I see two master password dialogs, and the frustration of having to enter the password in two dialogs fighting for keyboard focus. So it seems that the mitigation of the problem between restored session tabs has been solved, but not when extensions cause a password prompt.
