For what it's worth, I (like Andy Pople) can also reproduce this bug
on OS X (10.5.8 and 10.6.6) with FF 3.6.14 -- though (of course) only
when using Java Plugin2 (not when using the JEP that's by default
bundled with FF 3.X on the Mac).
