Yes, this problem is still occurring on one of the boxes I maintain, but not on others. The box in question is fully up-to-date, running the i386 version of release 6.10. It was originally installed with Kubuntu version 5.10 and has been dist-upgraded twice since then. The other boxes were originally installed with Kubuntu 6.06 or Ubuntu 6.10, which I'm guessing is the reason that they aren't affected.
