Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Can you please run an strace so that we can see if one of your extensions might be causing the issue?
Can you please start Firefox with:
strace -eopen firefox 2>&1 | tee /tmp/strace_ff.log

Please attach /tmp/strace_ff.log after you reproduce the crash.
