It should look identical to the current default tab in firefox (the ubuntu search thing).
However, search for something in there, and you should see some different behavior.
For instance, search for "dvd": * http://people.canonical.com/~kirkland/search3.html?cof=FORID%3A9&cx=partner-pub-2070091971271392%3Ajhy8zj-qv39&q=dvd&sa=Search
You have the links across the top: * Web Images Videos Maps News Shopping Wikipedia
Furthermore, the results are much more compressed, and hence much more usable on my netbooks.
The advertisements are limited to the side. And they still do pay Canonical, which helps bring you Ubuntu.
