What is unconfirmed is that this behavior is a bug.
It's not a bug merely because some user says "I don't like it".
I view Johnathan's comment 8 as an "INVALID" or "WONTFIX" resolution.
I don't believe Mozilla's position with respect to this issue is
"Yes, we agree that this is incorrect behavior that needs to be fixed"
and THAT is the definition of a confirmed bug, I believe.
