I'll burn an 8.10 today and try it!  My big concern is that I have some level of Radeon video card - if the CD works will the full upgrade/installation to 8.10?
This is really 2 problems.  1. Problem reporting hangs, 2. Pictures are not rendered on certain websites, racingjunk.com for example.

Ubuntu better, but unfortunately I've been unable to reproduce your
issue on Ubuntu 8.10. Can you reproduce this issue with an Ubuntu LIVE
CD and report back if the problem still exists on Ubuntu 8.10 LIVE CD?

Bug description:
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

1. help-report a broken website interface HANGS as report is being submitted.
i have typed in my problem and pressed 'submit' or 'ok' or
whatever it was. the running icon sticks and does not continue the interface.
i expected the running icon to turn back into a pointer and some sort of
'submitted' message to appear.
2. the webpage problem i was reporting was essentially:
racingjunk.com is an automobile fleamarket site. the pictures of the
automobiles are no longer displayed - as of about a week ago. website says that
they work fine. other browser users see the pics.

hardy heron 8.04 is the ubuntu version. i just installed updates.
