Trunk builds are the test builds for the coming new release, Firefox 3.1, also called Minefield.
They can be downloaded here: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla-central/
I'm using XP SP 3 but I think it has nothing to do with the service pack because the problem is also reproduced on other operating systems.
