To defend my puny piece of code :-)

1) I tried fullscreen on hulu.com and it breaks the timer, in other words you will be able to play a flash game in fullscreen just fine.

2) An easy shortcut toggle could be made to turn the feature off if you want to play a flash game.

3) Statistically speaking, how many of the average user visited pages are a "flash game" requiring keyboard navigation?

But you are right in principle, this is just a hack and a permanent solution is sought for.
