Comment 2 for bug 251649

I have a very similar problem: Sometimes when I write or copy a URL into the address field and then press ENTER, Firefox does not react. I have to close and restart Firefox to get rid of this problem. In contrast to Björn, this problem occurs only from time to time on my machines, I do not have many add-ons installed, and there is no output on the “Error Console” (“Fehlerkonsole”) when I press ENTER. I have noticed this on three different machines. All have Kubuntu 8.04 installed (one update from older Kubuntus, two fresh installs). This morning I have updated Firefox 3.0 to version 3.0.1 using the usual Kubuntu update procedure, but I this problem occurred again.
