I hate to report such an unusual bug, but it's happened numerous times now, and I can't seem to get a better understanding on why it's failing. So...
DOES:
0) From cli, start firefox (version 3.0)
1) Wait (typically overnight, though I still don't know why "overnight" has any value... maybe wait a very long time is better?
2) Note that Firefox is no longer running
Note that this last message is what appears to show up when Firefox officially dies. I believe the preceding messages are generated during normal Firefox operation.
SHOULD:
0) Firefox should not crash
I currently have the following add-ons installed in Firefox:
--FireFTP 0.99.1
--AdBlock Plus 0.7.5.5
--Ubuntu Firefox Modifications 0.5
--URL Link 2.02.2
--Foxmarks Bookmark Synchronizer 2.0.47.4
To limit the potential causes of this bug, I will begin removing add-ons one-by-one to see if I can still repro this bug.

Reviewing the cli output, here's what I see:
