As I was explain I don't master the english language (I am French !!) so I am not sure to understood your first question.
But if I understood you correctly, then the response can be :
1/ i surf under firefox 2. All works.
2/ firefox is upgraded during a firefox 2 session.
3/ firefox 2 is closed, firefox 3 is openned. Apparently, all works because I was not saved any bookmarks for the moment.
4/ Some restarts later, I want to save a bookmarks and the problem was born.

But I have do suit from your proposition.
I have restart firefox with new profile and the probleme is resolved.
But could you explain me how can I move my passwords saved from my old profile to the new ?
