While I disagree with any restrictions to free speech, what the man said absolutely falls under hate speech under British laws. There is a way to criticize non-EU immigration, and this is not it.

You do yourself, and other people opposed to non-EU migration (including me, at times - only fools are convinced they are absolutely right), a disservice, by likening them to this bloke. You make it sound like it's impossible to criticise immigration without being an insufferable twat - and it is not, because there are plenty of educated, informed people who dislike current forms of immigration.

Find me an example of a person criticizing immigration without being an utter cunt about it, and without clearly violating a (very stupid) British law, who has been arrested for it. Don't pick one example of hate speech and say "all criticism is banned", it's honestly very dishonest of you.
