I can confirm this behaviour on FF3b5, on Mac OS 10.4.11 and 10.5.2. Open tab to an Axis motion jpeg pushed camera. Get about 240 or so KB/s in. Open another tab to the cam...or one of the others I have...that makes no difference. Activity doubles. Open another. It adds another approx 240-250 KB/s in. Close the window, one at a time or all together...the cumulative network activity caused by the connections never stops. Even with ALL tabs and/or windows closed. Only solved by actually quiting Firefox.

This need to be marked as confirmed, I would think.
