But anyway, I'm not too familar with dbus. We only had a discussion on IRC yesterday about the topic of displaying notifications or alerts. Due to we are using dbus on trunk now I think it would be a good idea to have a wrapper component for DBusMessage on Linux. But we should ask someone with more knowledge.
