This also happens when cross-domain sub content is loaded, let's say 1,000 pictures of movies of password protected content need loaded, Firefox attempts to load 1,000 password requests... and hangs in the process.

Why would more than one password box per domain ever be required?

Why not just ask once per domain and not have Firefox hang and require killing?

Or for that matter, why would you have more than one application dialog up at a time waiting for a response?
