So, I applied again both the patches and rebuilt embedding and network modules, for mozilla-central (FF3.1). I had setup the master password and saved 5 tabs all with a same single site needing authentication which I stored the password for. On windows I see just one MP and one username/password pre-filled dialog - so I cannot reproduce the problem. The same with ReminderFox installed. I don't have a linux machine to test.

I will retest this scenario with the latest seamonkey trunk - I could not setup the master password there, it is ignored by the password manager.
