Thank you for your bug report. You probably assigned the archive manager as the default application to open folders.
To reset this association: Right click on any folder (e.g. on your desktop or press Alt+F2 and enter "nautilus" to start the file manager). Chose "Open with Other Application..." and select "File Browser". Does this make the issue go away?
