I don't think the duplicate status is wrong because the other bug is a lockup of the whole X, while this is only an error message.
I also experiment this error message on Ubuntu 14.10. There is clearly a problem in the path that is shown in the error message. For example right now I got:
“You don't have the right permissions to extract archives in the folder "xds.txtules"”
The “xds.txt” part is always constant while the end “ules” is actually the end of the name of one of the parent folders (in this case, the 11th parent folder, which has a depth of 9 from / so its seems to be in the middle of the full path).
I was unable to determine what would trigger this but for me it occurs currently once in 3 times. Another time in 3, the drag and drop simply does nothing (or at least there is no feedback) so in the in it seems to work only one third of the time…
