Binary package hint: fglrx-amdcccle
Installing the driver via synaptic DOES NOT start the config of xorg, or give any message that it should. Itself its not a problem, but when you have:
*the fully bloated preinstalled desktop enviroment
*xfix has skullbashed your xorg
*Just running cli since xorg cannot start
I do think it should ask if you want to configure it or not.
Version: all versions of the propitary ATI driver |
