Which package documentation file mentions that?
If you're referring to the files in /usr/share/doc/fglrx/, we do not
maintain those, and I'm not sure we're even allowed to modify them as
per the licensing terms.
I didn't find any mention of "9600" in the Debian packaging files
in fglrx-installer-8.600/debian, but if I missed something there, we can
update those without problem.
