I have something else to add to this bug report. I noticed something new in syslog:

[drm:intel_dms_platform_mux_info] *ERROR* MUX INFO call failed

Xorg.0.log is the same as before: http://pastebin.com/hsnCw47g

Difernce from last time I tried is 3.2-rc7 kernel and ati 11.12 driver version.
