Hi,

I also face this problem from time to time. In my case three applets are affected:
- fast user switch applet,
- mixer applet and
- sensors applet

I don't believe that it has something to do with 9.04 only. I had this problem, too, in the last days I had 8.10. Somehow the occurrence rate increased after the upgrade.

As it only occurs from time to time, the workaround at the moment is to re-login.

Please tell me how I may help fixing the problem.
