It is still an issue with Evolution 2.32.2 and Natty (both on 32 and 64 bit machines, and has been an issue for a way long time.

The only way I have found to save them is to copy the source and then decode them with another app: way too much trouble.

This is an Evolution problem, not an Ubuntu one: it applies across a lot of different Linux distros.
