One of the board members who resigned (Christian Barmala) I have known
*personally* for several years now, and I have a very high opinion in his
honesty, integrity, and technical knowledge in matters digital security.
I think we should wait *at least* until *after* the next (first?) CAcert board
meeting, to see if they can create a structure that is controlled by more than
just one person (as it is currently).
PS. I had high hopes for CAcert, and still hope Duane (the current *sole*
controller of CAcert) will make the right decisions to get things on track.
NOTE: I'm not suggesting WONTFIX; merely that we are cautious, and wait.
Recently, some serious doubts have come up as to CAcert's "readyness" for being
included into Mozilla:
